First Time
Before your first burn.
Getting started as a new client
First time at Sora? Visit the front desk to check in and say hi. After that, future visits are simple: check yourself in on the Sora app or ask one of our team members for help.
Please arrive early so you have time to settle in. Once checked in, make your way to the spot number you reserved.
Download the Sora app to view the schedule, sign up for classes, and purchase intro offers.
When should I arrive?
If it is your first time, arrive 10-15 minutes early. Studio doors open 10 minutes before class. Returning guests should aim to arrive at least 5 minutes early so they can settle into their reserved spot.
What do I need to bring to my first class?
Wear comfortable movement clothes. Grip socks are recommended for hygiene and stability, but not required. Bring a refillable water bottle and a mat towel. Towel rentals are $3, and towels are available to purchase for $30. Lockers are available for your belongings.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You need an account to purchase credits, purchase memberships, and book classes. Create or access your account here.
Studio & Classes
How class works.
What is the duration of a typical class?
On average, our classes are 50 minutes long.
What should I wear for classes?
Choose lightweight, moisture-wicking clothing like leggings, shorts, tank tops, or t-shirts that dry quickly and handle sweat well.
Are rental mat towels available if I forget mine?
Yes. Rental mat towels are available for $3. You can also purchase a mat towel for $30.
How much are classes and memberships?
You can find current package, offer, and membership information on the pricing page.
Can I share my credits with someone else?
Credits are for individual use and cannot be transferred.
What happens if I need to leave during a class?
If you need a break from the heat, it is okay to step out. Once you leave, we kindly ask that you do not re-enter so the instructor and other guests are not disrupted. Your safety is the priority, so listen to your body.
What is the late arrival policy?
Classes begin promptly. Doors open 10 minutes before class and remain open for 2 minutes after the start time. Late arrivals will not be admitted after that window.
Each class begins with an introduction to proper form and technique. If you are late, we will help you find a spot in the next available class.
What is the class cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 8 hours before class. Members have an extended cancellation window and may cancel up to 4 hours before class without penalty. Cancellations made inside the cancellation window incur a $15 fee and result in the loss of the credit. Email cancellations are not accepted.
What is the no-show policy?
If you do not show up for a booked class, you will be charged a $20 no-show fee and lose the session credit.
Can instructors or classes change unexpectedly?
Yes. Instructors and classes may change due to unforeseen circumstances. When possible, changes will be communicated in advance.
Check-In & Waitlist
Your spot, saved.
How do I check in for class?
You can check in for class in three ways:
- Self check-in on the Sora app for returning guests, starting 15 minutes before class and up to 5 minutes before it begins.
- Self-serve kiosk at the studio entrance for quick check-ins.
- Front desk check-in for first-time visitors, ClassPass guests, and account questions.
How does self check-in work?
Use the Sora app during the check-in window. Make sure location access is enabled and that you are physically near the studio.
Self check-in policy
You must attend the class you check in for and head directly to your reserved spot.
Failing to attend a checked-in class results in a double no-show fee of $40. A second violation incurs the same fee and a permanent ban.
Cancel at least 12 hours in advance to free up space for others.
How does the waitlist work?
When a class is full, you can join the waitlist. Spots are offered based on the order guests join.
If a confirmed guest cancels more than 8 hours before class, the first person on the waitlist is automatically added.
Once the automatic window closes, remaining spots are offered by text message on a first-response basis.
What is the automatic waitlist window?
Our waitlist automatically fills open spots up to 8 hours before class starts.
- If a spot opens before 8 hours, the next person on the waitlist is automatically enrolled.
- If a spot opens within 8 hours of class, it will be offered by text instead.
Will I get notified if a spot becomes available?
Yes. If a spot opens within 8 hours of class, you will receive a text message with a booking link.
- Texts are sent to all waitlisted guests at the same time.
- The spot goes to whoever books it first.
- If another spot opens, another text will be sent.
How does booking from the text message work?
The text includes a link that takes you to the booking page in your browser.
- Log in if prompted.
- Reserve the class.
- You will be moved from the waitlist into the class automatically.
Your booking uses the same credit or membership you used to join the waitlist.
What if the spot is already taken when I click the link?
If the spot has already been claimed, you will see a message that it is no longer available. You will remain on the waitlist and be notified again if another spot opens.
Do I need to remove myself from the waitlist?
Yes. If you no longer plan to attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist.
- Removing yourself is penalty-free.
- It allows someone else to join.
- It prevents accidental booking close to class time.
Once you are enrolled in class, standard late cancellation and no-show policies apply.
What are the late cancellation rules for waitlist bookings?
Late cancellation windows still apply if you move from the waitlist into class:
- Non-members: 8-hour cancellation window.
- Members: 4-hour cancellation window.
If you are unsure you can make it, remove yourself from the waitlist.
Can I see my position on the waitlist?
Yes. Once you join the waitlist, you can view your current position in your reservation details. Positions update automatically as spots open.
